Description
It’s been fourteen years since Josephine attended St. John the Divine, but one memory from her time at the elite boarding school haunts her: a pristine ice skating champion’s lifeless body lying in the grass, far below a dormitory window, and a circle of cloaked boarding school students milling around, mildly amused.
Despite the inhumanity she experienced—and inflicted—as a Divine, Josephine feels compelled to revisit these sequences from the past, culminating in a decision to return to the shuttered boarding school one more time, if only to see what remains of its dark and twisted history.
